The battery management system adopts wireless communication technology, dividing the originally complex battery system into a brain and several intelligent nodes. The intelligent nodes are arranged in the middle of each battery module, realizing the function of checking battery level, heating, faults, etc. at any time, and optimizing and managing them through short-range wireless communication technology. Up to 90% of wiring harness and up to 15% of battery pack volume have been saved, improving the energy density, design flexibility, and manufacturability of battery packs.
